The U.S. International Trade Commission says it will continue its probe into the potential dumping of tire imports from Asian countries, including South Korea.
The commission explained Tuesday that there are "reasonable indications" that U.S. industry is materially injured by passenger vehicle and light truck tires imported from South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Last month, the United Steelworkers,... a trade union representing industries, including tires, has filed a petition claiming the American tire industry faced a reduction in market share, profits and major job cuts.
