Warisan president Shafie Apdal underscored the importance of Dr Mahathir Mohamad's role, especially with regards to the Malay electorate, for Harapan and its allies to recapture Putrajaya in an interview in Kuala Lumpur this morning

The Sabah chief minister explained this is the reason he is supporting Mahathir to be named as Harapan Plus' prime minister candidate.
