Factory Closes After 300 Test Positive, Four Workers Die Of COVID-19

CNN reports a garment manufacturer in downtown Los Angeles has been ordered closed.
After the deaths of four workers, investigators discovered 300 confirmed coronavirus cases among employees of Los Angeles Apparel.

When inspectors visited the factory on June 26, they observed multiple violations of physical distancing requirements and infection control protocols.
One included the use of cardboard as a barrier between the workers.
The company's owner, Dov Charney, disputes many of the health department's allegations.
