Singapore elections sees residents queue at polling booths
  • 4 years ago
Singapore residents queue at polling booths this morning (July 10) as the country holds the first elections in Southeast Asia since the start of the coronavirus pandemics.

Footage shows voters following social distancing guidelines as they wait at the St. Gabriel Secondary in the Serangoon district at 9:30am local time.

The health crisis and a grim economy are expected to bolster Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s People Action Party (PAP) and extend its unbroken rule.
