NFL News: AFC East HC Doesn't Think Cam Newton Starts Week 1

Cam Newton may have signed on with the Patriots and will immediately enter as the team's most established quarterback, but there's no guarantee yet that he will be the team's starter. The Patriots have not expressed yet that this will be the case and the team has made it quite clear that they think highly of second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

There is at least one AFC East head coach who does not believe Cam will be the man under center come week one.
