US President Donald Trump has repeatedly argued that the increase in COVID-19 is because more tests are being carried out.
But according to HuffPost, at least one prominent medical professional begs to differ.
Dr. Tom Frieden is a former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Dr. Frieden estimated that another 15,000 people in the U.S. will die from COVID-19 in the next month.
Data compiled by Johns Hopkins University reveals there have been more than 125,000 coronavirus-linked deaths in the US.
As of Sunday, there were more than 2.5 million confirmed cases of the virus nationwide.
