Eating Dinner Early Has Health
Benefits, Study Reveals The analysis was published in the
'Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.' It states that a body's ability to burn fat
could be affected if you eat at 10 p.m.
instead of 6 p.m. The study also claims late meals
impact blood sugar levels. A trial included
20 healthy participants —
ten women and ten men. Every subject had a
bedtime of 11 p.m. Results showed a 10 percent drop
in fat-burning when
people ate late. Compared to eating early,
blood sugar levels registered
nearly 20 percent higher. All participants
ate the same food. According to study author Dr. Jonathan C. Jun,
late meals did not affect everyone equally. He notes that "Night Owls"
who eat as late as 3 a.m.
were unaffected. Dr. Jonathan C. Jun, via Healthline Healthy eating expert Lisa K. Diewald says
the findings show how meal timing
could be linked to disease prevention. Lisa K. Diewald,
