CAIT appeals bollywood not to endorse Chinese products

As tensions rise between India and China, the battlefield is shifting from LAC (Line of Actual Control) to the economic corridors of the country. Finance Ministry is considering raising customs duty on a number of Chinese products. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has appealed top celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Virat Kohli to stop endorsing products of Chinese brands as a mark of respect for Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in the Galwan Valley attack in Ladakh.
