This is a featured video I am going to shed some light on suspension of H1B Visas effecting 5 lakh Indian professionals back in USA.
Washington: US President Donald Trump is considering suspending a number of employment visas including the H-1B, most sought-after among Indian IT professionals, in view of the massive unemployment in America due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a media report.
Trump urged to suspend H1B, other visas after 26 mn Americans lose jobs.
President Trump Asked To Cancel H1B Visas To Help 2.6 Crore Jobless Americans Get Employment.
Congressman Paul Gosar has asked the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to suspend the foreign workers programme. In addition to that, he has also asked for the suspension of the H-1B, H4, L1, B1, B2, Optional Practical Training Program, and further guest worker admissions. This will apparently help to promote the wages and opportunities for the American workers, especially at a time like this where the unemployment is at an all time high.
More than 90% of the population of the US has been asked to stay at home compulsorily, rendering the common public of the states unemployed and with no work or wages either.
The H-1B Visa Programme has also stopped expedited processing, which means that the Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) will have a lot of backlogs once the pandemic is dealt with and the nations return to their regular state.
Thus these obvious decisions would effects H1B visa holders and people willing to move to America for better job opportunities.
