The number of Indian confirmed casualties in a border class between Chinese and Indian troops has risen from three to 20 on June 15, 2020. China has not released an official statement acknowledging injuries or deaths of their troops, but sources say there were casualties on both sides. The clashes happened in the Galwan area, a contested border region between China and India. This is the first deadly clash along this border in four decades, both China and India say they want to de-escalate.
