He was transferred late on Monday night and he has not been given any new posting. This move of the state government has created controversy and the opposition alleges that the IPS officer has been sentenced to make arrest in the alleged scam.

उत्तर प्रदेश में 69,000 सरकारी शिक्षकों की भर्ती में कथित घोटाले के सिलसिले में आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी करवाने वाले प्रयागराज के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक रहे सत्यार्थ अनिरुद्ध के ट्रांसफर को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हो गया है. सोमवार देर रात उनका तबादला कर दिया और उनको नई पोस्टिंग भी नहीं दी गई है. राज्य सरकार के इस कदम से विवाद पैदा हो गया है और विपक्ष का आरोप है कि आईपीएस अधिकारी को कथित घोटाले में गिरफ्तारी करने की सजा मिली है.
