Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin has said that if given a chance to become the head coach of Indian cricket team he would not even blink and grab the opportunity with both his hands. Mohammad Azharuddin will have to wait until 2021 T20 World Cup to see if he gets the opposrtunity as BCCI had extended current coach Ravi Shastri's contract till the time period in August 2019. Azhar was famous for his breathtaking flicks, also expressed his surprise over the number of support staff travelling with the team these days.

पूर्व भारतीय कप्‍तान मोहम्‍मद अजहरुद्दीन ने इच्‍छा जताई की है कि वो टीम इंडिया का कोच बनना चाहते हैं. हाल ही में गल्‍फ न्‍यूज से बात करते हुए पूर्व भारतीय कप्‍तान ने टीम इंडिया का कोच बनने की इच्‍छा जाहिर की. उन्‍होंने कहा कि अगर उन्‍हें ऐसा मौका मिलता है तो वो बिना पल‍क झपकाए इसे स्‍वीकार कर लेंगे. इस साल IPL के आयोजन पर अजहर ने कहा कि मुझे पूरी उम्‍मीद है कि इस लीग को एक विंडो मिल सकती है. जहां हम कम से कम सात मैचेां की मेजबानी कर सकते हैं. आईपीएल ने पिछले 12 सालों में क्रिकेट को काफी कुछ दिया है. पूर्व भारतीय कप्‍तान ने कहा कि आईपीएल एक ऐसा स्‍टेज है, जहां कई क्रिकेटर्स लाइमलाइट में आ जाते हैं. अच्‍छा प्रदर्शन करने पर जल्‍द ही पहचान मिल जाती है और टीम इंडिया के लिए दरवाजे भी खुल जाते हैं.
