Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide as per reports of multiple news outlets at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. Unfortunately, he was said to be under stress and depression for the last few months. Just a few days ago, the actor had mourned the death of his former manager Disha Salian. सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की आत्महत्या करने से पूरा देश इस समय सदमे में चला गया है. किसी को भी कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा है कि आखिर साल 2020 में ये हो क्या रहा है. एक के बाद एक बुरी खबर सुनने को मिल रही है. सुशांत सिंह राजपूत ने मुंबई स्थित अपने घर में फांसी लगा ली. इस पर क्रिकेट के भगवान कहे जाने वाले सचिन तेंदुलकर बहुत दुखी हैं. उन्होंने अपना दुःख प्रकट करते हुए ट्वीट कर लिखा है, "सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के सुसाइड करने की वजह से काफी हैरान और शॉक्ड हूँ. एक कम उम्र का टैलंटेड एक्टर दुनिया छोड़ गया. उनकी फैमिली और उनके परिवार को भगवान हिम्मत दें. और आत्मा को शान्ति भी." वहीं, टीम इंडिया के ऑफ़ स्पिनर हरभजन सिंह भी इस खबर को सुनकर हैरान हैं. उन्होंने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा है, "प्लीज कोई बता दो कि ये खबर गलत है. विश्वास नहीं होता कि सुशांत सिंह राजपूत अब इस दुनिया में नहीं है. उनके परिवार को हिम्मत दें.
