Proud Filipino wars Spiderman costume to mark Philippines Independence Day

A Filipino comic book fan celebrated the country's Independence Day by wearing a white, blue, red and yellow Spiderman costume to the supermarket.

Carlo Angelo Garces, 32, from Mandaluyong City in Manila wore the outfit in the same colours of the Philippines flag.

He visited the local supermarket while wearing the costume of the Marvel Comics hero.
