Across America, states that shut down to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic are reopening for business.But although people can adhere to government guidelines, the coronavirus plays by its own rules.CNN reported that 22 states are seeing upward trends in COVID-19 cases.We all want to return to restaurants, but many people are hesitant to put themselves and others at risk..Indoor restaurants pose high risk for infection because they are often poorly ventilated and strangers sit in close proximity to each other for long periods of time, Alicia Riley,Post-doctoral Scholar.But are dine-in restaurants likely to increase the spread of COVID-19, and is it safe to go to a restaurant or not?.It appears that dining out is not going to be a no-risk activity for some time now.It's up to the individual restaurant and the individual diner to make that decision and to be as safe as possible
