The IMD has said in its latest update that there are favorable conditions for the progress of the southwest monsoon over parts of the central Arabian Sea and is moving fast, due to which Goa, Konkan, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema And the Bay of Bengal and parts of the Northeast may receive heavy rainfall during the next two-three days. Whereas in Mumbai also the Monsoon Express has progressed at the same speed, it will reach Mumbai and Konkan around June 11.

आईएमडी ने अपने ताजा अपडेट में कहा है कि मध्य अरब सागर के कुछ और हिस्सों में दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून की प्रगति के लिए अनुकूल स्थितियां हैं और ये तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है, जिसके कारण गोवा, कोंकण, कर्नाटक, तटीय आंध्र प्रदेश, रायलसीमा और बंगाल की खाड़ी और पूर्वोत्तर के कुछ हिस्सों में अगले दो-तीन दिनों के दौरान भारी बारिश हो सकती है। वंही मुंबई में भी मानसून एक्सप्रेस इसी रफ्तार से आगे बढ़ी तो ये 11 जून के आस-पास मुंबई और कोंकण पहुंचेगा
