A sheriff from Flint, Michigan, got rid of his riot gear and walked with the protestors protesting against racism and police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd. He embraced the protest and joined them, having peaceful interactions with the demonstrators. He called out other police offers in his unit to speak out against the injustice, reassuring the crowd that they stand with them in solidarity. To honor the lives of people who dies due to unjust practices in society, the protestors, and the police observed 30 seconds of silence.
