Protests have led to violence against police and wide spread looting.
Yet, de Blasio seems to be giving the protestors more and more freedom, displacing law abiding New Yorkers in the process.
A petition to impeach the mayor has gained popularity.
The NY Post reports there are close to 200,000 signatures on the petition.
While the petition will not lead to de Blasio's impeachment its existence and popularity is humiliating stain on de Blasio's questionable legacy.
