The U.S. is banning Chinese passenger airlines from flying to the U.S...., in a tit-for-tat move to a restriction that was applied by Beijing.
The order published by the U.S. Department of Transportation on Wednesday applies to four Chinese airlines starting June 16th...but President Trump said it could be moved up.
The measure comes as China has not given approval to U.S. airlines like Delta and United Airlines to resume flight services to China.
They halted flights to China earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
