Tests on nearly 10 million people in Chinese city of Wuhan turn up only 300 coronavirus cases

Wuhan, the central Chinese city that was the initial epicentre of what is now a global coronavirus pandemic, has finished a citywide screening for Covid-19. Authorities from the surrounding province of Hubei announced on June 2, 2020, that health workers have screened close to 10 million people in the city over two weeks, and they found 300 asymptomatic cases and none showing any clear symptoms.
