As racial tensions have escalated across America, more violent protests have erupted in all major cities. Angelinos came out in full force amid country-wide protests over George Floyd's death while in police custody. Floyd died at the hands of Minneapolis police in a horrific incident that has prompted outcry around the world. Demonstrators came out to seek justice and bring awareness about others who have died at the hands of police. Floyd's death has raised concerns about life as a black person in America. Outrage over Breonna Taylor's death, a black woman who was recently killed by Louisville police, was also on full display. The families of those killed are calling for peaceful protests following angry messages from the U.S. President trying to maintain order in the country ultimately sending a warning to protestors via social media that, “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.” Journalist Germany Kent covers the story in Los Angeles where activists and local residents have come together in an effort to unify the country.
