Cricket West Indies said on Friday it will halve salaries for staff and players for up to six months as it struggles to deal with the economic challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic.Staff and players of the West Indies cricket team would need to take a pay cut to meet the challenges created by the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic

कोरोना महामारी के बीच वेस्टइंडीज और इग्लैंड के बीच टेस्ट सीरीज की मंजूरी देकर वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने सभी को हैरान कर दिया था, वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने टीम के इंग्लैंड दौरे को अनुमति तो दे दी है साथ ही वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाड़ी इंग्लैंड में बायो-सिक्योर एनवायरमेंट में रहेंगे। बावजूद इसके कैरेबियाई खिलाड़ी और सपोर्ट स्टाफ को 50 फीसदी सैलरी मिलेगी।
