This situation enabled Charlotte to stay safe from predators while it ate itself to such an enormous size. Charlotte gorged herself so much that she grew to a diameter the size of a dinner plate! That’s almost 8 inches. Chilling, right? Not to the woman who uncovered this spectacle of a creepy crawly.
