Six people were shot and one person was stabbed in Boston late Wednesday night in two acts of violence, officials said.
Boston police said five men were found shot just before midnight on Ames Street. One of the victims later died at a hospital.
At the same time, police received a call for one person shot and a second person stabbed on Massachusetts Avenue
