Positive News: Lockdown Yamuna Clean, जो 25 साल में नहीं हुआ, वो 2 महीने में हो गया | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Two months of the Coronavirus lockdown have done what successive governments could not do in 25 years with over Rs 5,000 crore at their disposal-clean up the Yamuna river. As industrial activity halted and other commercial activities slowed during the lockdown, the Yamuna river cleaned itself, allowing numerous Indian and migratory birds to flock to its waters.

यमुना पिछले 25 सालों में 5000 करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा खर्च कर भी मैली की मैली ही थी लेकिन दो महीने के लॉकडाउन में ही बिना एक पैसा खर्च किए यह साफ हो गई। दिल्ली प्रदूषण नियंत्रण कमेटी के शोध में यह पता चला है कि राजधानी में यमुना लॉकडाउन के पहले की अपेक्षा 33 प्रतिशत ज्यादा साफ है। यह भी देखने को मिला है कि मथुरा में जाकर यमुना का प्रदूषण और कम हुआ है।
