रमजान के पाक महीने के अलविदा होने पर ईद का त्यौहार जोशो-खरोश के साथ मनाया जाता है। इस्लामिक कैलेंडर की मुताबिक यह चांद पर निर्भर है कि ईद किस दिन मनाई जाए। । चांद के दिखने के साथ ही रमजान के महीने की शुरुआत होती है और चांद का दीदार होने पर ईद का जश्न मनाया जाता है। जिस दिन चांद दिखाई देता है उसके अगले दिन ईद का त्योहार मनाया जाता है..कोरोना वायरस के प्रसार की रोकथाम के मद्देनजर लागू देशव्यापी लॉकडाउन के बीच देश के प्रमुख उत्सवों में शुमार ईद का त्योहार इस वर्ष बेहद सादगी से मनाई गई.
