Western Cape Minister for Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, welcomed a group 26 Cuban doctors and healthcare workers, in a ceremony held at the offices of the Western Cape Provincial Government in the Cape Town CBD.

The Cuban doctors have arrived to assist in the province's battle to contain the spread of the Covid 19 virus. The Western Cape boasts the highest number of infections in South Africa, with more than 50% of the recorded infections.
