Dam failures and severe flooding have caused a bridge to partially collapse in Edenville, central Michigan.

The footage filmed by Brendan Gutenschwager shows the destruction caused by the flooding as the debris from the collapsed bridge has been partially swept away.

On May 19 two dams in Edenville failed after heavy rains seeing the town flooded and thousands evacuated from the area.

This footage was filmed on May 20.
