Wuhan- China The city at the center of the coronavirus crisis has banned the eating of wild animals and Chinese farmers are being offered cash to quit breeding exotic animals. Both moves come amid mounting pressure for China to crac down on the illegal wildlife trade blamed by many for the pandemic that has killed more than 320,000 people.

चीन ने वुहान शहर में जंगली जानवरों के खाने पर बैन लगा दिया है. वुहान सरकार द्वारा जारी एक नोटिस के अनुसार, नई नीति अगले पांच साल तक लागू रहेगी. दरअसल, ग्लोबल टाइम्स की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक वुहान सरकार की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर एक नया रेग्युलेशन जारी किया गया है. इसके अनुसार जंगली जानवरों के खाने और शिकार करने पर वुहान में प्रतिबंध लगाया जाता है.
