A day after the Central Government announced to run 200 trains, the Railway Ministry on Thursday has allowed opening of reservation counters at select stations in the country and booking through Common Service Centers (CSCs) and agents. However, initially this facility will be available only at some stations, where passengers can deduct reserved tickets. These booking counters and CSC are closed since the lockdown came into force on 25 March.

केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से 200 ट्रेनें चलाने की घोषणा के एक दिन बाद रेल मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार को देश के चुनिंदा स्टेशनों पर आरक्षण काउंटर खोलने और कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर (सीएससी) और एजेंटों के जरिए बुकिंग की अनुमति दी है। हालांकि शुरू में कुछ स्टेशन पर ही यह सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी, जहां यात्री आरक्षित टिकट कटा सकते हैं। ये बुकिंग काउंटर और सीएससी 25 मार्च को लॉकडाउन लागू होने के बाद से बंद हैं।
