Snake slithers into living room behind Thai pensioner's back before son catches the reptile

This is the heart-stopping moment a brave son saved his elderly father from a snake slithering through their house.
CCTV footage shows the man standing at the open door before walking back through the living room as his path is stopped by the reptile.
He called for help and his son Panya Udom came running into the room in Nonthaburi, central Thailand on May 10.
The brave son grabbed the golden tree snake with his bare hands as it tried to coil around his arm. He then put into the box before being taken out of the room.
Panya said he and his father later released the animal back into the woods far from their house.
He said: "I was a bit curious why my father did not take it out by himself. It was quite amusing when he wanted me to do it for him but I understood his fear."
