University students in Srinagar, northern India came together to collect food and feed packs of stray dogs.

The dogs used to survive on leftover food from university canteens but the country's COVID-19 lockdown has meant the stray canines are finding food hard to come by.

Several students are seen handing out portions of food to the eager dogs on May 21.
