Britain's Environment secretary George Eustice announces that 35,341 people have died from COVID-19, an increase of 545 people in the last 24 hours.
Eustice also announces the launch of the "Pick for Britain website". With fewer workers from the EU expected to come to the UK for the harvest season, the government calls on the British people "lend a hand to bring the harvest home".
The website hopes to "marry job opportunities for growers and employers with those seeking a second job", he says.
