Kathua rape case: BJP ministers Lal Singh, Chander Prakash Ganga quit

Minister for Forest Chaudhary Lal Singh and Minister for Commerce and Industries Chander Prakash Ganga have submitted resignation to state party chief Sat Sharma. Confirming their resignation, the Bharatiya Janata Party said that the party legislature meeting will decide the fate of both the ministers. The resignation of both the ministers came in the backdrop of the public outrage over their participation in a rally organised by a fringe group, Hindu Ekta Manch in support of the accused in the Kathua rape and murder case.
