Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's year: A baby, royal tour and lawsuit
  • 4 years ago
It's been a busy year for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their first wedding anniversary with the arrival of their first child - Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor - in early May.

They also undertook a 10-day tour of South Africa, with their son in tow.

While on tour, the couple filmed a documentary for ITV where they both spoke candidly about the struggles they face living as part of one of the most famous families in the world.

Harry appeared to confirm rumours of a rift with his brother and Meghan admitted she's "not OK".

A lawsuit was also announced, towards the end of the tour. The couple revealed they were taking action against a number of news outlets who had published a private letter from the Duchess to her father, Thomas Markle.

“This will have been their hardest year - but next year won’t be much easier," says royal reporter, Omid Scobie in Yahoo UK's 'The Royal Special'. The one-off episode looks back at the Sussexes year and includes additional commentary from fellow royal experts Duncan Larcombe and Victoria Murphy. Kate Thornton hosts.
