Australia’s relative success in constraining the spread of the virus has been overshadowed though.
Mostly by a rift with its largest trading partner China, which lies to Australia's north.
This is exacerbated by a World Health Assembly resolution in favor of the inquiry.
China imposed hefty tariffs on Australian barley exports.
China then went on to say it's not a vindication of Australia's push for a global review.
