A tyre on a truck suddenly exploded, knocking a man to the ground in southern China's Haikou on May 17.
The terrifying video, provided by local media with permission, shows a tyre on a truck suddenly blasting after it hit a bollard at a car park.
The gas with high pressure inside the tyre then sprayed out, knocking a nearby pedestrian to the ground.
Nearby people and the truck driver went to help the man and called an ambulance for him. He was sent to hospital for treatment.
The case is in further investigation, reports said.
