Sagareshwar as the name says 'Sagar' it is believed that the sea Is present below this holy land..... So the kund's present here are full of water through out the year.... it is seen that water is present in this kund's even in drought like condition...
Maharashtra's first CM Yashwantrao Chavan house is located in Deorashtre which you can see in the video lastly.
The best time to visit here is between August to February..... We Visited in the 1st week of February
DAY 1
Sagareshwar has it's own religious importance. We visited Famous ancient Shiva temple . There are 51 small temples around the large Shiva temple. All temples are present from ancient Satvahana period. the Kund which has water whole around the year is located near the large temple....
DAY 2
it was a time to visit Yashwantrao Chavan wildlife sanctuary Sagreshwar... it is man made and it do not have Perinial water supply. It is protected area and various animals are introduced there. Animals like Sambar Deer, Blackbucks, Chital, Wild boar are present... there are some carnivorous animals which includes hyena, fox, porcupines.large number of insects, birds, and reptiles like pythons are present here.....
Entry fee per head - 30 Rs
