In view of the Corona crisis, the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released the third installment after the Modi government announced an economic package of 20 lakh crore, the government has made a provision of Rs 4,000 crore for the expansion of herbal farming. Herbal products will be cultivated in about 10 lakh hectares. With this, the income of 5,000 crores will be directly to the farmers. The corridor will be built on 800 hectares of land on the banks of the Ganges for herbal products.

कोरोना संकट को देखते हुए केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने 20 लाख करोड़ के आर्थिक पैकेज के ऐलान के बाद केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने तीसरी किश्त जारी की, सरकार ने हर्बल खेती के विस्तार के लिए 4,000 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया है। करीब 10 लाख हेक्टेयर में हर्बल उत्पादों की खेती की जाएगी। इससे 5,000 करोड़ की इनकम किसानों को सीधे होगी। गंगा नदी के किनारे 800 हेक्टेयर जमीन पर हर्बल प्रॉडक्ट्स के लिए कॉरिडोर तैयार किया जाएगा।
