Coronavirus: crowds return to Pakistan’s markets as lockdown eased despite rising case numbers

Markets across Pakistan have started to draw crowds again after the country eased lockdown measures to fight Covid-19, despite a recent rise in the number of infections. The country has allowed some businesses to reopen with restricted hours since May 9, 2020, but schools and intercity transport will remain shut.
