Commuters returned to Paris' public transport as the nation eased its COVID-19 lockdown measures for the first time in eight weeks on May 11.

Parisians are seen getting on and off trains and adhering to social distancing measures on the platforms.

The French government made masks mandatory for travelling on public transport and anyone travelling during rush hour will need authorisation from their employer.
