Former India allrounder Irfan Pathan has lashed out at the Indian selectors for the way they treated him. He retired from all forms of cricket earlier this year after perhaps losing all hopes of making it to the national team. He said that the selectors sidelined him just because he had touched the age of 30.

भारत के पूर्व इरफान पठान ने अपना आखिरी मैच 2012 में खेला था। वे उस समय 27 साल के थे। पठान को श्रीलंका के खिलाफ वनडे और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ टी20 में खेलने का मौका था। इसके बाद उन्हें टीम इंडिया में शामिल नहीं किया गया। पठान को इस बात का मलाल आज भी है कि उन्हें मौका नहीं दिया गया। उन्होंने पूर्व भारतीय बल्लेबाज सुरेश रैना से इंस्टाग्राम पर लाइव चैट के दौरान अपना दर्द बताया। पठान ने कहा कि उन्हें बीसीसीआई के कुछ पदाधिकारियों ने 30 साल की उम्र में ही बूढ़ा मान लिया था।
