At least 40 trucks are parked on the National Mall in Washington DC, as their drivers protest against poor working conditions, low income and safety measures for essential workers in the COVID-19 pandemic. Some drivers "can't even go into their own home and hug their children, because they don't know" if they are carrying the coronavirus, says Charles Clayburn, one of the protesters.
