This Actress Is Recreating Famous Broadway Musical Songs By Herself In Quarantine During Coronavirus

Los Angeles-based actress Mary Neely has been recreating famous Broadway musical numbers by herself in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since late March, Neely has taken on everything from Marius and Cosette in Les Misérables, Danny and Sandy in Grease to the Schuyler sisters in Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast, in homemade videos she has been posting on social media featuring more than a dozen reenactments in full costume. Neely’s videos have since captivated the internet, with stars including Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, giving her praise and props for her performances.
