Zahid's daughter fined RM800 for MCO breach

Daughter of Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid, has been fined RM800 for breaching of the movement control order (MCO).
Nurulhidayah's husband Saiful Nizam Mohd Yusoff was also fined RM800.
The couple was charged after Nurulhidayah last month posted on social media about her meeting with de facto Religious Affairs Minister Zulkifli Mohamad. Her husband was also present during the meeting at Zulkifli's office in Putrajaya.
Following that, Nurulhidayah also shared another photo of their meeting with Deputy Environment and Water Minister Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad, also a former political secretary to her father.
The MCO guidelines among others state that movement during its second and third phase is limited to one person per car and only within a 10km radius, unless with special permission from the police or authorised to work.
