Pilot killed in small plane crash near Hemet, California

A small plane crashed in a rugged area near Hemet, southern California on Thursday (April 30) killing the pilot.

An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the crash.

Aerials filmed on Thursday show debris from the twin-engine Piper PA23 and emergency crews at the scene.

The pilot was believed to be the only person aboard.
