The instrument used in this melody is called the Loutar in Morocco. This instrument is mainly used by the Amazigh artists of the Middle Atlas like the legendary popular singer late Mohamed Rouicha.
The Loutar instrument is also used in the Souss region and other geographical areas of Morocco. But it should be noted that the manufacture of the Loutar in the Souss region is very different from that of the Middle Atlas and other regions of Morocco.
