US President Donald Trump says "many, very good experts ... said that this would never affect the United States" and "got it wrong," as he was asked for a response to the United States passing the one-million-case mark. The president also said he was expecting to sign an emergency order compelling meat packing plants to stay open, despite a string of coronavirus deaths, in a bid to secure US food supplies.
