April 30, 2020, marks 45 years since the end of the Vietnam war, when Communist forces from the north captured Saigon, the capital of the democratic south. Michael Burr served in the US Air Force and was posted to Saigon in 1970, teaching English to members of Vietnam’s air force. He also had a camera with him and spent his free time taking thousands of photos of wartime Vietnam.
