There was a time in ODI cricket when it was difficult for any batsman to score more than 150 runs in an innings. But sachin did in 2010, Sachin Tendulkar completely changed the history of the game. Sachin Tendulkar brought up ODI cricket’s first double-hundred, in a match against South Africa in Gwalior. Sachin scored 200 not-out from just 147 deliveries, and his innings included 25 fours and three sixes. This was then the highest individual ODI score ever.

उस दिन दुनिया ने भी माना, न भूतो न न भविष्यति. यानी सचिन जैसा न कोई हुआ था और न कभी होगा. और उस पारी के बाद उन्हें क्रिकेट का भगवान बना दिया. सचिन ने 24 फरवरी 2010 को वनडे क्रिकेट इतिहास में पहली बार दोहरा शतक लगाया. हालांकि इसके बाद उनके इस रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी कई खिलाड़ियों ने की. लेकिन इस रिकॉर्ड के मामले में सबसे पहला नाम सचिन का ही आता है. उस समय दक्षिण अफ्रीका की टीम भारतीय दौरे पर आई थी. यहां पर खेली गई तीन वनडे मैचों की सीरीज़ के दूसरे मैच में सचिन ने यह कमाल किया. सचिन ने सीरीज़ के दूसरे मैच में नाबाद 200 रन बनाए.
